Chiropractic Services at Circle, Right on Lakewood Main Street

Most people who walk through our Lakewood Ranch doors have already tried something else. Maybe it was rest, over-the-counter pain relievers, or just hoping the pain would work itself out. By the time they find us, they’re frustrated, and they’re ready for a straight answer about what’s actually going on.
That’s what we focus on at Circle Chiropractic.
Before we adjust anything, we want to understand what’s happening and why. Your doctor will review your history, examine your spine, and walk you through what’s going on in terms you can actually follow. We want you to understand what caused your pain, and give your body the best possible chance to heal, rather than just making the pain go away for a while. Schedule an appointment at our Lakewood Ranch office and start experiencing a healthier, pain-free lifestyle.

Conditions We Treat

Chiropractic care at our Lakewood Ranch clinic is appropriate for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. Some of the most common reasons patients come to see us include:
Back Pain
Back pain can show up suddenly or build slowly over months. Either way, we look for what’s actually causing it before we recommend a course of care.
Neck Pain
Neck pain often comes from posture, an old injury, or tension that settles into the shoulders and upper back. We’ll check your alignment and range of motion to see what’s contributing to it.
Joint Pain
Shoulder, hip, and knee pain can be connected to how your spine and nervous system are functioning, not just the joint itself. That’s part of what we check during your exam.
Migraines and Headaches
A lot of headaches start in the neck. Cervicogenic headaches, meaning headaches caused by dysfunction in the cervical spine, often respond well to chiropractic care.
Sciatica
Sciatica is pain, tingling, or numbness that radiates from your lower back through the glutes and down one or both legs. We’ll assess where the irritation is coming from before recommending care.
Scoliosis
Chiropractic care can help manage pain, improve mobility, and in some cases slow the progression of scoliosis, though it won’t reverse the curve itself. Dr. Bertolini has specific training in corrective and scoliosis care.
Slipped and Herniated Discs
A herniated or slipped disc can put pressure on nearby nerves, which is often what causes the sharp or radiating pain. We’ll examine you first to see whether chiropractic care is appropriate for your specific situation.
If you’re not sure whether chiropractic care is the right fit for what you’re dealing with, give us a call. We’ll talk through your symptoms and let you know honestly whether we can help.
What to Expect at Your First Chiropractic Appointment
Your first appointment at Circle Chiropractic Lakewood Ranch is a real conversation, not a generic intake process. Here’s how it usually goes:
- We talk it through. Your doctor will ask about your symptoms, your history, any imaging you’ve had, and what makes things better or worse.
- We examine you. You’ll get a physical and neurological exam so we can assess your spine, your range of motion, and any areas of restriction or tenderness.
- We give you a straight answer. If chiropractic care is appropriate for your situation, we’ll explain our recommendations and what a realistic course of care looks like. If we think you need a different kind of care or a referral, we’ll tell you that too. We’re not in the business of putting patients through programs that aren’t going to help them.
- We treat you, if it makes sense. Most new patient visits take about 30 minutes, and there are no surprises about what happens next. If your schedule allows, we can often perform your first adjustment the same day.
Why Patients Choose Circle Chiropractic in Lakewood Ranch

Your Doctor in Lakewood Ranch
Our Main Street office is led by Dr. Vince Bertolini, who specializes in corrective care and scoliosis correction. He focuses on finding the root cause of spinal misalignment so the relief actually lasts, rather than just chasing symptoms. He’s also a Complex Disc and Nerve Injury Specialist and is Webster’s Technique certified. Every doctor on the Circle Chiropractic team, including Dr. Ben Duke and Dr. Carly Cunningham, is trained directly within the same Circle Chiropractic model, so you get the same standard of care no matter which of our Suncoast clinics you visit.
Serving the Lakewood Ranch Community
Our Lakewood Ranch office on Main Street opened in October 2025, but we’ve been caring for patients from Lakewood Ranch and the surrounding communities for many years as part of the greater Sarasota area we’ve always served. The Observer covered our Main Street opening locally when we welcomed our first patients on October 6, 2025, and now Lakewood Ranch and Bradenton residents have a closer option for the same care we’ve always provided.
A Range of Chiropractic Techniques
Every patient’s spine is different, so our doctors are trained in multiple chiropractic techniques, including Diversified, Activator, Thompson, Cox, Applied Kinesiology, and CBP (Clinical Biomechanics of Posture®). We’ll use whichever chiropractic adjustment technique fits your body, your condition, and your comfort level, instead of applying the same approach to every patient.
Transparent Pricing
Circle Chiropractic is a self-pay practice, and pricing is straightforward from the start. You’ll know what a visit costs before you’re treated, with no surprise bills after the fact.
FAQs
- How long is a typical first appointment? Most new chiropractic patient visits take about 30 minutes, provided your paperwork is completed before you arrive. Your first visit includes a consultation, evaluation, examination, digital X-rays if needed, and your first treatment.
- Are chiropractic adjustments actually good for you? Is chiropractic care safe? Chiropractic care is a proven, safe, non-invasive, drug-free approach designed to help restore proper movement, reduce stress on the nervous system, and support your body’s natural ability to heal.
- Should I see a chiropractor or get a massage for my pain? It depends on what’s actually going on, which is why we don’t guess. Your care with us starts with an exam and your goals, and from there we recommend only the therapies that make sense for you. That might be chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy (also offered at our Lakewood Ranch clinic), or a combination of the two.
- How do I know I can trust a chiropractor near me? Look for a clinic that examines you before recommending anything and explains what they find in plain language. At Circle Chiropractic, everything is explained before it happens, and there’s no pressure to continue care beyond what you actually need.
- What’s included in the New Patient Special? A one-on-one consultation with your doctor, a neurological and postural evaluation, a thorough chiropractic examination, digital X-rays if clinically necessary, and your first adjustment or treatment based on your condition.
- Does Circle Chiropractic have other Florida locations? Yes. In addition to Lakewood Ranch, Circle Chiropractic has clinics in Sarasota (Southgate) and Wellen Park (Venice). All locations follow the same standard of care.
