Stress

Some stress in our lives is not necessarily a bad thing, but too much stress can cause all sorts of problems with the body.

Physical Stress

Physically, you might be stressed out thanks to injuries causing you pain, doing repetitive motions at work (like typing on a computer, sitting all day), and/or having awkward posture where your neck is twisted for long periods of time.

Mental Stress

Mentally, you might be stressed out by people at work who bother you. Maybe a deadline is wearing you out, or you’re going through the grief process after losing a loved one and you’re having to clean out their house. Have you ever noticed when someone’s mentally stressed? Their posture is affected. They look frustrated and depressed. Life’s not easy for them.

Chemical Stress

Meanwhile, we are surrounded by chemicals. They’re dropped on us from planes above, they’re in our water and foods, and of course there are things like drugs, preservatives, plastics, pollen and other substances surrounding us, all of which affect our overall health. Environmental pollution can cause chemical stress, affecting the body’s nervous system.
